Into Koponen

Into Koponen is a guitarist, composer and guitar teacher from Oulu, Finland, who is celebrating his 50th birthday by releasing his first solo album Peace on June 14, 2024. Koponen is an original and style-conscious musician at home with blues, rock, country and jazz. Koponen's fusion-style compositions combine atmospheric melodies and modern jazz harmony with expressive and dynamic blues-style guitar playing. Koponen's career includes performances with top Finnish artists and membership in the legendary band Freud Marx Engels & Jung.
